Anthropic just released remote access for Claude Code, and it fundamentally changes how software gets built with mobility. You can now start a coding task on your laptop (keep running), remotely connect from your phone, and direct it. Claude keeps writing, debugging, and shipping code via your remote guidance while you're not at your computer. The user story that made this real: a developer's app got rejected from the App Store. They directed Claude remotely from their phone. It helped analyze two bugs, suggest fixes, and prep a pull request. Laptop executed. All with laptop access. The bottleneck in software development has always been that someone has to sit at the computer. That mobility constraint is now eased. Your code session doesn't stop when you step away anymore (laptop on). I spent six years coding at Google, often 8 to 12 hours chained to my desk. If this technology existed back then, the entire workflow would have been different with remote direction. We just entered the era where your AI developer session runs continuously.
