I connected Claude Code to Unreal Engine 5.7 using the Unreal MCP, and built a custom setup skill that handles the full 7-gate install for you. In this video I walk through the setup skill, the build skill I use for best-practice prompting, and a first real test where Claude builds a simple Stonehenge scene in Unreal with sunset lighting. This is for anyone who has wanted to control Unreal Engine with natural language but has been put off by the multi-hour manual setup. The skill handles Epic Games Launcher, C++ build tools, Python + UV, cloning the repo, building the plugin, wiring it into Claude Code, and the live connection test.
