Frontend performance often gets deferred. Teams ship fast and optimize never. Over time, performance debt piles up and the UX lags. GitHub launched a Performance addon that instruments performance at the component boundary. It tracks the signals engineers care about: ✔️ FPS ✔️ Input lag ✔️ Paint timing ✔️ Main-thread pressure ✔️ Layout stability Performance is measured while the component is being built and reviewed.
