This video discusses the implementation of Monitoring and Observability in cloud-based backend applications using OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, and Jaeger with a case study of the Cloud-Based Quran Reading Tracker Application. The material covers the basic concepts of monitoring vs. observability, container-based backend system architecture, telemetry implementation, metrics monitoring, distributed tracing, and a demonstration of end-to-end observability flow. The purpose of this implementation is to improve system visibility, accelerate fault detection, and support troubleshooting and application reliability. I apologize if there are any shortcomings or misconceptions in the presentation. Criticism and suggestions are highly appreciated for future improvements. Hildan K.
