In this keynote, I draw on three years of work on digital-to-AI pedagogy and educational practice — grounded in the frameworks and arguments from my book Generative AI and Education (Springer, 2024). In the final section, I turn to what I see as the next frontier: agentic AI systems and what their emergence means for education.
