π Build a production-grade food delivery platform on AWS EKS from scratch. In this DevOps portfolio project, we deploy a real microservices application using FastAPI, Docker, Terraform, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Amazon ECR, AWS EKS, Prometheus, and Grafana. This is not a hello-world Kubernetes demo β it is a full end-to-end cloud project with CI/CD, autoscaling, monitoring, and a live failure demo. π₯ What You Will Build π Real Microservices App 4 independent FastAPI services for users, restaurants, orders, and delivery. π Frontend + NGINX Gateway A React frontend routed through NGINX with clean API paths. ποΈ Terraform AWS Infrastructure VPC, public/private subnets, NAT Gateway, EKS, ECR, and IAM with least privilege. βΈοΈ Kubernetes on AWS EKS Deployments, services, ingress, namespaces, rolling updates, and HPA autoscaling. βοΈ GitHub Actions CI/CD Build 5 Docker images in parallel, push to Amazon ECR, and roll out to EKS. π Prometheus + Grafana Monitoring Track request rate, error rate, P95 latency, failed orders, and service health. π₯ Live Observability Demo Inject 50% failures into order-service, run load tests, watch Grafana spike, then fix and recover. πΌ Perfect For β DevOps portfolio projects β AWS EKS hands-on practice β Kubernetes microservices learning β Terraform infrastructure projects β CI/CD pipeline practice β SRE and observability demos π GitHub Repo https://github.com/vijayb-aiops/devops-production-projects/tree/main/projects/01-food-delivery-eks-platform π Subscribe for more production DevOps projects https://youtube.com/@ThinkWithOps π¬ Drop a comment if you get stuck β I read every one. #DevOps #AWS #Kubernetes #EKS #Terraform #GitHubActions #Microservices #Prometheus #Grafana #FastAPI #Docker #Python #CloudNative #CICD #SRE
