When the updated image tag is committed, ArgoCD detects the drift and automatically syncs the Kubernetes cluster with the latest desired state defined in Git. 3. Cluster Applies Changes → New Version Deployed Safely - ArgoCD applies the updated Helm release to Kubernetes, performing a rolling update of the application. It ensures the cluster state matches Git, provides version history, rollback capabilities, and a declarative, auditable deployment flow.
