The game master (GM) plays a central role in tabletop role-playing games, weaving together player stories, controlling NPCs, and managing rules. AI can wonderfully support GMs with rule checking, scenario improvisation, and on-the-fly content creation. Developers will explore building a multi-agentic AI game master using Strands Agents, implementing specialized agents for different GM tasks that communicate via Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocols and Model Context Protocol (MCP) integration for tools.
