Google has just released Gemini Embedding 2, their new multimodal embedding model that can generate vector embeddings from text, images, audio, video, and documents — all within a single unified vector space. In this video, we explore how Gemini Embedding 2 works, what makes it different from traditional embedding pipelines, and how developers can start using it today. Instead of building complex pipelines like audio → transcription → text embeddings, Gemini Embedding 2 allows you to directly generate embeddings from multiple modalities using a single API endpoint.
