This is the foundational AI coding workflow I run on every project! Works for Claude Code, Codex, Pi, any coding agent. The one I think every engineer should have in their tool belt, regardless of stack or team size. It's a three-phase process: Planning, the PIV Loop, and System Evolution. Planning is how you turn a brain dump into structured work automatically, using your coding agent plus your task tracker (JIRA, Linear, GitHub Issues, whatever you're on) to go from idea to PRD to tickets without manually creating any of them. The PIV Loop (Plan, Implement, Validate) is the per-ticket cycle that keeps your agent focused and your context clean. And System Evolution is the foundational layer most people skip, where every bug becomes a chance to improve the AI layer for your whole team instead of just patching the surface of one issue. The whole methodology is lightweight on purpose. If you've tried BMAD, GitHub Spec Kit, or similar frameworks you know it's hard to mold to your actual workflow. This is the foundation you build on top of, not a replacement for your entire SDLC!
