OpenClaw was the trigger for all this, but I decided to build my own version using Claude Code, since there are some well known issues and changing the codebase is very tricky since it's large and complex and it depends on a lot of libraries, so it's easy to break things. Building it with Claude Code only took me one morning, so it's worth the shot trying to build a version of it that suits me more to help me streamline my business and life. It was a quick build because I roughly knew what I needed from OpenClaw and, most importantly, I understand WHAT processes I need help automating.
