Here is how to run OpenClaw agents on a VPS for $7/month. Set it up on Hostinger, 10% off with code MOE-LUEKER: https://www.hostinger.com/moe-lueker I'm running 20 OpenClaw agents around the clock and they're doing actual useful work — building apps overnight, drafting scripts, scanning for trends, and coordinating with my team. Most tutorials show you how to summarize the news. That's not useful. In this video I walk through my complete agent setup from scratch: how to configure each agent with its own identity using soul.md and agents.md, how to wire them together with an orchestrator, and how to build a command center dashboard to manage your entire fleet from one screen. A chatbot answers your question. An agent has a goal, tools to accomplish it, and a schedule — it runs without you. • Every agent needs two config files. soul.md defines its identity, personality, and behavioral rules. agents.md sets its startup instructions, tools, cron schedule, and output location. These two files determine 80% of how useful your agent becomes. • The orchestrator pattern is what makes a multi-agent fleet actually coordinate. One orchestrator routes tasks to specialist agents — content, research, dev, sales — and each agent writes outputs to a shared workspace. • Keep soul.md under 500 words. Agents read it on every single prompt — the longer it is, the more tokens it burns and the more diluted your rules become. • Agents improve over time when you train them. Rate their outputs, give feedback, and they adjust. Most people skip this step entirely. 📈 TIPS FOR OPENCLAW AGENT SETUP: • Build the orchestrator before adding more than three agents. Without coordination, agents overlap on tasks and burn through API credits fast. • Start with three agents: orchestrator, content agent, research agent. Get those working reliably before expanding. Three agents with tight configuration outperform twenty with loose setup. • Give each agent a specific output folder in a shared workspace. Agents writing to the same location without structure create conflicts. • When agents hit errors, copy the logs and paste them directly into ChatGPT or Gemini with a note saying "fix these." You don't need to understand the logs — just let another model read them. • Use the auto-generate prompt in the free guide to build your dashboard. It asks you nine questions and writes the full build prompt based on your answers. • Use OpenRouter instead of direct API keys from day one. One key, access to every major model, and you can assign a different model to each agent without changing config files. • The dev agent is the one to set up first if you're a content creator. Give it your niche and let it build tools for you. Check back in two days. If your OpenClaw agents feel dumb or repetitive, the issue is almost always missing soul.md configuration and no coordination layer between agents. The setup in this video covers both. Once those are working, scaling to 20 agents is straightforward. 🎥 SUBSCRIBE, LIKE & COMMENT: Building your own OpenClaw agent setup?
