In this workshop, Luca Malpiedi, head of growth at Keeper Hub (built by the MakerDAO/Sky Protocol devops team), introduces Keeper Hub as the reliable execution layer for on-chain agents. He explains how Keeper Hub fits into the agent stack beneath reasoning frameworks (LangGraph, OpenClaw, Eliza OS) and communication protocols (MCP, A2A), handling the critical gap where network congestion, gas spikes, and silent failures kill agent transactions. Keeper Hub manages retries, gas adaptation, transaction simulation, signing, and full audit trails with SLA backing. Luca walks through the platform's two core interaction modes: direct execution (agent calls a contract and Keeper Hub lands the transaction) and workflows (agent creates persistent automations with triggers, conditions, and actions that run continuously). He demos building a vault monitoring workflow in Claude via the MCP server in about 40 seconds — from natural language intent to a live workflow with cron triggers, condition checks, ERC-4626 deposit actions, and Discord notifications. For the hackathon, he outlines three contribution directions: new protocol/chain integrations as plugins, framework wrappers for tools like OpenClaw and Eliza OS, and new developer features like simulation debugging or wiring published strategies to ERC-7804 agent registries with X2X payment rails. 00:00 Introduction and Hackathon Context 01:20 The Hub: Workflow Library and Templates 02:23 Publishing Workflows as Marketplace Strategies 03:29 How Keeper Hub Executes Workflows 04:15 Where Keeper Hub Fits in the Agent Stack 05:41 The Gap: Network Congestion Kills Agents 06:27 Retries, Gas Adaptation, Audit Trails, and SLAs 06:50 Team Background: MakerDAO/Sky Protocol Engineers 07:29 Keeper Hub as Infrastructure, Not Just a UI 08:11 Resources: Discord, Docs, and Link Tree 08:53 Primary Interfaces: MCP Server, CLI, X2X 09:37 MCP Setup and Tool Schemas 10:32 Two Interaction Types: Direct Execution and Workflows 11:22 Primitives: Triggers, Conditions, and Action Nodes 11:44 What's Pluggable: Protocols, Frameworks, and Contributions 12:29 Live Demo: Vault Monitoring Workflow via Claude MCP 14:04 Workflow Canvas Walkthrough 15:16 What We Want to See from Hackers 15:42 Direction 1: New Protocol and Chain Integrations 16:14 Direction 2: Framework Integration Wrappers 17:01 Direction 3: New Features and Developer Tooling 17:34 Bonus: Agent Marketplace with ERC-7804 and X2X 18:33 Closing and Support Channels _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ 🤖 *Open Agents 2026* This workshop is part of Open Agents 2026, an online hackathon held from April 24 to May 6.
