Agentic Robotics Orchestration Workflows (AROW) - Navigating Agentic Robotics in Every Direction Jeremiah Owyang, Partner, Blitzscaling Ventures | founder, Llama Lounge AI events 🚀 The Future is AROW: Agentic Robotics Orchestration Workflows 🤖 Jeremiah Owyang from Blitzcaling Ventures unveiled the AROW framework—Agentic Robotics Orchestration Workflows—as the critical direction for navigating Physical AI. AROW defined: It combines Agentic autonomy (adaptive, decision-making systems that sense the world) with Robotics (completing real-world "atoms tasks") through Orchestration. The key vision is connecting multiple heterogeneous hardware devices (multi-stack) to achieve real-world goals. Why AROW is necessary: Traditional robotics were confined to controlled settings and repetitive tasks, often failing to collaborate. AROW envisions agentic robots roaming homes, cities, farms, and workplaces, completing variable, non-deterministic tasks and coordinating with other agents and humans using natural language. The Critical Software Stack: Blitzscaling Ventures is focused on investing in the software layer for Physical AI. This stack must include: 1. Interop Layer: A physical-digital bridge layer to connect diverse hardware. 2. Safety Layer: Paramount importance, requiring guard rails, humans in the loop, and predictive eval simulations (like running 10,000+ simulations to predict non-deterministic agent behavior). 3. Orchestration Layer: High-level, drag-and-drop workflow tools to control heterogeneous hardware (e.g., security bots sending drones if needed). Major Risks Ahead: We face high stakes, as physical actions cannot be unwound (no software "rollback"). Concerns include unpredictability, latency, the high cost/ROI versus plunging human labor costs, and the catastrophic risk of hallucination in physical security or self-driving applications. This new category will disrupt repetitive physical tasks, field logistics, delivery, and basic security/patrol, while reimagining fields like healthcare and retail. #PhysicalAI #AgenticRobotics #AROW #Orchestration #VCFunding #AI F50 Physical AI Summit Silicon Valley 2025: Reimagine Manufacturing, North America’s premier cross-border event redefining future of manufacturing, construction, and innovation.
